Tuesday, January 26th, 2010
By Carolyn P. Marshall, CFRE
Partner, Bloom Non Profit Consulting Group

By most accounts, the struggling economy is slowly beginning to recover. But the fallout will likely be felt for many months to come. The non-profit sector, in particular, will continue to struggle to respond to increased demands for service, while trying to cope with decreased revenues from funders and donors. (more…)

Monday, January 4th, 2010

I took two important lessons from Ipsos Reid’s recent survey of Canadians’ online giving behaviours.

First, our preferred methods of giving and charities of choice are influenced by the region in which we live. (What could be more definitively Canadian than staunch regionalism? — ed.)
