Eva’s Initiatives – Award for Innovation
Each year, Eva’s Initiatives presents its Award for Innovation to three organizations in Canada that work with homeless youth. The Award includes a $5,000 grant and deadline for applications is November 12, 2009. For more information, please visit: www.evasinitiatives.com
2010/2011 IWK Community Grants Program
Funding is available for community projects that address one or more of the following areas:
- Supporting the healthy growth and development of children 0-6 years, including the pre-natal period
- Preventing child/youth obesity
- Supporting parents of children 0-16 years in their parenting role
- Addressing the needs of “at risk” youth
- Improving women’s wellness across the adult and senior years
- Reducing the incidence/severity of child and youth injuries
